Dec.5, 2014- A team headed by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of P.R. China visited Stanford College on Dec.4th. David Ding, founder and President of Stanford College, introduced Canadian education system and the development of Stanford College over the past 11 years. Mr. Zhang Da, Director of Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security of P.R China, shared their exploration and research on the vocational education in China.
Mr. Zhang was grateful for the Stanford visits and looked forward to Stanford’s future development in China. David said “I am confident we can leverage our successful Canadian experience and help build a vocational training model with Chinese characteristics for Chinese students.”
The team visited the workshops and labs located at Toronto campus and Scarborough Campus respectively, impressed by the experiential learning practice Stanford has been pursuing.
