Career Services

Stanford College is pleased to offer Career Services to graduates of all vocational programs.  We will assist with job-search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, mock interviews, employment application forms, current labour market information and any other employment related matter. We provide support and direction to our students who are seeking part-time, full-time or temporary employment.

At Stanford we strive to provide a smooth transition into life in Ontario, Canada and make each student’s transition to Canada as easy as possible by providing orientation, transportation, accommodation and other services.

Prepare for success by taking one of our English as a second language (ESL) courses. These courses will help you to improve your English skills.  

The English as a Second Language Program

The English as a Second Language program is a comprehensive, year-round English language program for second language students.  Features of the program are as follows:

  • Progressive program levels
  • Program ranges from low to high-intermediate
  • The four language areas- reading, listening, writing and speaking- are targeted
  • The program length is 28 weeks
