The Quality Control and Assurance diploma program (QA/QC) is designed to provide a strong technical education in the area of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) and prepare the graduate for employment in the field of Quality Control. Students will develop their technical and analytical skills using commonly used methods supported by discussions based on real-life subjects and samples.

Admission Requirements

  • An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or
  • Students are 18 years of age or older and pass the program entrance examination

Quality Control/Assurance engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians provide technical support and services in the development of production methods, facilities and systems, and the planning, estimating, measuring and scheduling of work.

Successful graduates may gain employment in a workshop, laboratory or office in many sectors including pharmaceutical, cosmetics, building and construction, food and drink, automotive, aerospace, textiles, electrical, plastics, oil and gas. Graduates of the Quality Control and Assurance Diploma program may apply for positions as a:
