New Personal Support Worker Program
Stanford International College is pleased to offer new NACC 2015 Personal Support Worker program.
PSW’s assist individuals with the tasks of daily living, providing a range of health care services in a variety of settings. The range of services provided by Personal Support Workers depends upon the individual needs of each person they support and may include personal care such as dressing, personal hygiene, mobility and other routine activities of living in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act, home management such as shopping, light house cleaning and meal preparation, family responsibilities such as routine care giving to children, and assisting with social and recreational activities.
The program provides students with theory courses as well as a wide range of practical skills. Students will further their practical skills by completing a Clinical Placement off site which will prepare the student to deal with the real world situations. The new Personal Support Worker program is designed to meet current market demands and is approved by National Association of Career Colleges
Admissions are now open for March classes. We invite students to visit our Scarborough campus and talk to our knowledgeable admission staff. Students can discuss financial options with our Financial aid administrator and explore what funding options will best suit them.
